Itinerary

Depart at 8am from your hotel. Stay away from the center, we will drive about 110km to get to Cai Be town, an agricultural region perfect for a deep and real Mekong experience. We will get there around 10am and visit a Cai Be floating market, to understand why people create this market and how it runs. We also stop at one boat in the market to try some tropical fruits. After that, the boat will take you to an ancient house to see the typical and traditional Vietnamese house during the French colonial time.

The next stop will be at the traditional village to see how local people make a coconut candy, pop rice, pop noodle, rice wine and rice paper.

Then we get back to the boat and go to Tan Phong island – big tropical fruit island – and take the sampan - the local daily vehicle, hand-paddling boat – through the small canal. We also have lunch at the beautiful garden in this island with delicious food.

After lunch, the guide will take you cycling around the orchard garden such as rambutan, longan, durian, jack fruit … for about half an hour.

To get back to the car, you will have chance to use the local ferry across the Mekong river like a local.

The tour end around 5pm at your hotel.
